Threads
    A poem-a-gram*

As seated she
Has at her tea,
Her ears are red.
She hates her Ted.
Her heart’s as hard as earth,
Her Ted, as dear as dearth.
Has she Ted’s ear?
He shed a hat.
She shed a tear.
The rat has sat.
Drat Ted, the rat!
He has her seat!
Darest he eat?
She stared as he
Dares share the tea.
He rates her tea as tar!
Hades arts hers are;
Hades star she hath;
Sad, she trades at death.
Ted eats a date.
She heats her hate.
Her heart’s a shred,
A shard her head.
The dates are Ted’s.
The
rest
are
Threads.
